How to Login into MyDelta Dashboard (As a Student)
  1. Student Link to MyDelta via MyDelta Dashboard (okta)
    If you areÌýalready logged into theÌý MyDelta dashboard (okta), the link will take you to MyDelta, if not you will need to login.
  2. Enter Your User Name
    • Your User Name is your Delta College email address
      Example:

      ÌýIf your Delta College email address is jsmith123@mustangs.deltacollege.edu, your username is: jsmith123
    • If you forgot your email address,
  3. Enter Your Password
    • If this is your first time logging into the MyDelta Dashboard (okta), you will need to locate the email title "Welcome to Delta College - Important information for New Students"Ìý. This will have a link for you to log into yourÌýaccount for the first time and set your MyDelta Dashboard (okta) password etc.

How to Login into MyDelta Dashboard (As an Employee)

Faculty currently teaching have access to MyDelta.

  1. Employee Link to MyDelta via MyDelta Dashboard (okta)
    If you areÌýalready logged into OKTA, the link will take you to MyDelta, if not you will need to login.
  2. Enter Your User Name
    • Your User Name is your Delta College email address
      Example:

      ÌýIf your Delta College email address is john.smith@deltacollege.edu, your username is: john.smith

  3. Enter Your Password
    • If this is your first time logging into MyDelta Dashboard (okta), you will need to ensure your MyDelta Dashboard (okta) account has been setup.Ìý

Accessing Your Email and Other Apps

You can access your email, canvas, Box and other work apps form your MyDeltaÌýDashboard / okta.Ìý

  1. Ìýwith your Delta Email as your username and password
  2. Once logged in, your MyDelta DashboardÌýwill be displayed with all Apps that you have available.

  3. Click one of the app icons to begin using.Ìý
  4. Okta will automatically sign you in and launch the application in a new tab of your browser
  5. Return to the Okta tab in your browser when you are ready to start using additional apps

Forgot Your Password

  1. If you forgot your password, go to the
  2. Click theÌýNeed Help Signing In? link below the blue sign in button.
  3. Click the Forgot Password Link
  4. Enter your Delta email address and click one of the options below. The default recovery option is Reset via Email. Be sure to have a secondary email added so that Okta can send a reset link somewhere accessible. If you have set up MFA, Voice Call and SMS can be options.
  5. Look in your inbox for the system generated email and follow the prompts.

How to Change Your Password

Set Up Multifactor Authentication (MFA) and Password Recovery

Multifactor Authentication helps secure your account from security attacks by adding another barrier of security to your account beyond your password. The options recommended to setup are Okta Verify, an app that uses your phone’s FaceID, fingerprint, or passcode to verify it is you that attempted to log in, Voice call, and SMS.Ìý

Password Recovery

When setting up the Multifactor Authentication by Voice Call and SMS, Okta will automatically add them as a password recovery option. Please refer to the Multifactor Authentication guide on how to set these options up. In addition to using your phone to recover your password, you can also use a secondary email.

Add a Secondary Email

Secondary emails are useful in case you forget your Okta password. If you forget your password, then you can request a password help link be sent to your email address. But since you'reÌýaccessing your Delta's email through Okta,Ìýthen you won't be able to access the email that was sent. If you have provided Okta with a secondary email address, then Okta will also send the forgotten password email to your secondary email address — making it easy to access and reset your password!

To set a secondary email:

  1. Click on your name in the upper right corner of the navigation, and click on settings.Okta Settings
  2. From settings, click edit next to personal information
    Enter a secondary email address and click save
  3. Enter a secondary email in the open text field and click save.

No, Okta will not affect your Desktop versions of Office 365.

I tried to reset my password in MyDelta Dashboard (okta), but get a message that its needs to be reset by an administrator?

If you applied to Delta College sometime before 4/22/2023 and received an email with the subject:Ìý"ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ - Welcome to Okta!" email instead and never set your password by clicking the "Active Okta Account", you will need to have your MyDelta Dashboard (okta) account reset by usingÌýÌýduring normal business hours. While you may be able to log into MyDelta using the instructionsÌýprovided in the email, you will not be able to log into other service like, Class scheduler, Canvas, email, etc. until you set your MyDelta Dashboard (okta) password.

Issues with Logging into MyDelta

If you’re having trouble logging in to MyDelta, it may be because:

  • You’re using the wrong username/password. You can no longer login using your Delta Student ID or password that was associatedÌýwith MyDelta, please make sure you are using theÌýcorrect username and password associated with the MyDelta Dashboard (okta). (e.g. john.smith / john.smith@ deltacollege.eduÌýor jsmith123 / jsmith123@ mustangs.deltacollege.edu)

  • If you receive a 403 error on the login screen, this typically mean you have tried logging into the employee instanceÌýMyDelta as a student or vice versa.
